NASCAR 2022
I had the pleasure of fulfilling my senior internship at the Speedway Children's Charities. Acting as a liaison between my supervisor, various car clubs as well as other directors during the NASCAR event, I was also handed the duty of outreaching to various high schools and colleges to obtain past and new volunteers to help out for our 50/50 raffle during the race. Aside from supervising the volunteers and ensuring everything ran smoothly, I also aided in setting up the store for the merchandise, folded clothes, transported items as well as marked prices on each piece accordingly. I also received the privilege to set up the live auction in the VIP suites to those that paid a special price, as well as walk to the infield to capture photo media of the drivers exiting the stage during pre-race introductions. After the race was over, our supervisor had also assigned us to take footage of the winning driver, Alex Bowman in Victory Lane (as seen above) to later post on our company's page!

SENIOR CAPSTONE
In the Harrah College of Hospitality, my senior capstone class was in charge of producing an alumni reception, honoring 3 of our top members of best performance (involving Guy Fieri, Rikki Tanenbum and Bobbie Barnes), and creating our own homecoming booth to represent the Hospitality College of the event. Starting from the very basics of brainstorming ideas, delegating members into teams of Marketing, F&B, Decor/Design and Operations/Logistics, I was proud to be a part of the leading management of the class. Working as one of the decoration teammates, we had outreached to a professional design company, ByDzign, as well as partnered with the Hospitality Catering team to help us prepare the dishes that would be served to the guests for both events. Throughout the process, my team ensured to gather with the other departments to ensure we were on the same page, tour and analyze the venues we were going to hold each event at, update each other about the status of where we were at with our teams and help answer any concerns or questions one may have. In this way, communication was aiding to our solidification as a class, as we soon became a "company" with clients rather than a capstone class. Amongst all, both events were a success, and we had the fortune to speak with Guy Fieri himself!

ALLEGIANT STADIUM
Receiving the opportunity to work with a stadium that seats over 65,000 guests to watch the same event at once is such an incredible experience. Since August of 2021, I have started working with Allegiant Stadium as a Guest Experience team member. In this position, I maintain the duties of scanning tickets, directing guests where their seats are, monitoring the areas of the VIP suites, checking in teammates and managers, clocking out all employees after the event and assisting in setting up uniforms a day prior for when employees check in on game day. Some events that I have had the privilege to work include the Raiders Games, the Soccer Gold Cup, Billy Joel, Metallica and the BTS Concerts, as well as the Pro Bowl!
INSOMNIAC ENTERTAINMENT

One of my favorite stages from the festival, performing are artists Jowell y Randy!
Working in the Box Office/Roll Call alongside other Insomniac workers from Los Angeles!

Receiving the opportunity to work at La Vibra Urbana and be handed the responsibility of working the Will Call booth was incredible, as this was my first festival that I would be front seat on the other side of walking into this event as an attendee. During this weekend, my primary roles consisted of scanning barcode tickets and coding them with its designated wrist band (GA, GA+ VIP, VIP+) per package the customer ordered, in order to gain entry into the festival; validating IDS per assigned ticket before confirming order numbers while resolving their individual disputes per registration; acquiring $20 cash/card payments through Paypal for wristband replacements and reassigning new ones accordingly; and issuing same day ticket purchases through cash or credit for up to 2000 guests.
Here are a few moments I captured from the festival!
LMG LLC, ENTERTAINMENT
My next advancement into my career allowed me to really expand my horizons and grow outside of my comfort zone. LMG LLC is an entertainment equipment company that provides the Video, LED, Audio and Lighting for live corporation events, festivals, concerts and touring artists. As a Production Assistant, I analyze data given to me directly from up to 4 Account Executives simultaneously, and generate reports for a client's desired equipment/freight & expenses/labor for their particular show; I confirm, revise, cancel & circulate the client reports through internal departments as needed as adjustments are being made to the quote quite frequently; train new team members about the various processes to familiarize themselves with how to get started; gather employee work hours, traveling and miscellaneous expenses through interconnected platforms and conduct post-show billing reports worth up to $1M-$2.5M projects, wrapping up the show. In addition, I participate in meetings with Board Directors, Account Executives, and other department managers to discuss new and efficient policies that can be implemented to further progress the quality of processes in operations. Furthermore, I would frequently shadow my Account Executives and partake in their "Pile Walks" to ensure all the equipment is present and ready to ship for the upcoming show. Other tasks that I was given included to develop Master Show Schedules as needed for the technicians, so they would know when and where every step of the show would take place; update the Salesforce platform with necessary changes to synchronize profits and losses from client businesses; send single or double deposit requests as necessary per client requirement, establish and distribute DocuSign forms to clients for their Certificate of Insurance and LMG's Master Services of Agreement; and overall multitask with numerous long term projects while adjusting to sudden rush tasks throughout the day. This position has truly allowed me to grow and strengthen my skills as I further into my career.
